Emotional support that runs alongside medical care.
Individual telehealth psychotherapy for your patients in California, from a licensed clinical social worker who sees every fertility client personally.
Fertility treatment asks patients to manage uncertainty, waiting, and loss while keeping up with the rest of their lives. When anxiety, grief, or the strain of a decision starts to outrun what a care team can hold, Burnett Clinical Group offers a confidential place for that work, coordinated with your team when the patient consents.
Four presentations we see most often
Anxiety during treatment
Persistent worry, rumination, and difficulty functioning around monitoring, the two-week wait, and results.
Grief after loss
Unsuccessful transfers, miscarriage, and other pregnancy loss, including the fear that follows when a patient tries again.
Decision stress
Whether to pursue another round, consider donor options or surrogacy, or stop treatment, and what each choice means to the patient.
Strain on the patient's life
Effects on work, friendships, and the marriage, addressed through individual therapy with the patient.

- Services
- Outpatient individual psychotherapy by secure, HIPAA-compliant video. Weekly sessions of 50 minutes.
- Who we serve
- Adult women, 18 and over, residing in California.
- Not provided
- Couples or family therapy, crisis services, treatment for minors, residential care, and psychological evaluations of donors or gestational carriers. We do not prescribe medication.
- Fees and payment
- $200 per 50-minute session. Private pay. A superbill is provided so patients can seek out-of-network reimbursement; benefits vary by plan. A Good Faith Estimate is given before care begins.

IVF Without Losing Yourself
A live, 90-minute psychoeducational workshop for women preparing for, in, or between cycles. Patients build a written plan for the waiting, spiraling thoughts, family questions, and difficult-news days. It is education and practical strategy, not therapy, and it is open to participants in any state.
