What this workshop is, and is not
IVF Without Losing Yourself is a psychoeducational workshop: structured education and practical emotional-wellness strategies for navigating fertility treatment, taught to a group. It is not psychotherapy, group therapy, medical treatment, or individualized medical or clinical advice, and participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship with Dr. Dezetta Burnett or Burnett Clinical Group.
The workshop does not replace psychotherapy, medical care, or individualized fertility treatment. Questions about your own diagnosis, protocol, medications, or prognosis belong with your reproductive medical team. Individual clinical services are a separate matter, governed by their own intake and consent process, and are available only to residents of states where Dr. Burnett is licensed to practice.
If you are in crisis or need immediate support, contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or local emergency services rather than waiting for the workshop or for a reply to a message.
Registration and payment
- The founding participant price is $79 per seat, payable in full at registration. Seats are limited to 20 and are confirmed in the order payment is received.
- Payment is processed by Stripe through a secure checkout. Burnett Clinical Group does not receive or store your full card number.
- After payment you will receive a receipt from Stripe. Your Zoom link and workshop materials are sent by email before the session date.
- Registration is for one person. Please do not share your Zoom link.
Cancellation and refunds
- 48 hours or more before the session: full refund, on request by email.
- Less than 48 hours before the session: your payment converts to credit toward a future session, since a held seat cannot be resold on short notice.
- No-show without notice: the payment is not refunded. You still receive the recording of the educational portion.
- If the facilitator cancels or reschedules: you may choose a full refund or a transfer to the new date.
To request a refund or credit, email drburnett@burnettclinicalgroup.com with the name used at checkout. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within five to ten business days.
Recording
The educational portion of the workshop is recorded and made available to registered participants. Participant discussion and the question-and-answer period are not recorded and are not included in the replay. Cameras and microphones are optional throughout. The recording is provided for registered participants only, is not published publicly, and may not be shared, copied, or redistributed.
Privacy notice for this workshop
This notice supplements the Burnett Clinical Group privacy policy and describes information handled specifically for this workshop.
What is collected. At checkout: your name, email address, payment (handled by Stripe), and, if you provide them, a phone number and your current stage of treatment. Through the question form on the workshop page: your name, email address, and the message you write. During the session: your attendance and, if you choose to speak or write in the chat, what you share in the room.
How it is used. To confirm your seat, deliver the workshop and its materials, send the recording, respond to your questions, and, unless you opt out, tell you about future sessions. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Who processes it. Stripe (payment and registration), Netlify (the question form on the website), Zoom (the live session and recording), and Google Workspace (email). Each processes your information under its own privacy terms and security practices.
What it is not. Information you provide for this workshop is not a clinical or medical record and is not part of any treatment relationship. Please do not submit detailed personal health information through the registration or question forms; the workshop does not need it.
Retention and your choices. Registration and payment records are kept as ordinary business records. You may ask at any time to have your contact information removed from future workshop communications, or to have your question-form submission deleted, by emailing the address below.
Participation
- Other participants may choose to share personal experiences. What is shared in the room stays in the room. Please do not record, screenshot, or repeat what others say.
- You may participate with your camera and microphone off, and you may use only a first name or initial in Zoom.
- The facilitator may set aside a question that requires individual clinical or medical attention and follow up with you privately with appropriate referrals.
